Job Title: Class 1 Driver – Trunking Work
Hours: Working between Monday - Sunday (Flexible) - Various shifts
Location: Blantyre with routes covering Livingston, Prestwick, Glasgow, Crick, and East Midlands Airport.
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Shift Patterns:
- Overnight Shifts with the following start times:
- Shift 1: 22:30 (or later if familiar with the route)
- Route: Livingston to Crick and back
- Shift 2: 22:30 (or later if familiar with the route)
- Route: Prestwick to Crick and back
- Shift 3: 02:00 (or 02:30 if familiar with the route)
- Route: Glasgow to East Midlands Airport and back
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely and efficiently driving Class 1 vehicles for trunking work
- Performing daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of delivery and vehicle inspections
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence held for at least 6 months
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor infringements
- No DR, DD, or IN endorsements due to insurance requirements
- Must be physically fit to perform duties involving manual handling
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in trunking work or similar distribution roles is an advantage but not essential
What Training is Provided?:
- Manual handling training
- Paid on-site driving assessment
- Partnered with an experienced member of staff for at least one shift
